New e-invoice address identifier for Finnish Peppol receivers coming into effect on March 1, 2024

Dear customer,


Maventa has implemented a change to e-invoice address identifier in Peppol address to align with the guidance from the Finnish state treasury (Finnish Peppol Authority).


All new registration to Peppol network will be already done with new scheme ID 0216. Format of new Peppol address is 0216:003712345678, where

  • 0216 is the scheme ID
  • 003712345678 is the OVT code of the company

Companies already registered with the old scheme ID 0037 will get updated to use the new scheme ID latest on 1.3.2024. Please take this into consideration when informing your invoicing details to the suppliers in the future. The new updated address will be available in the Peppol directory. It’s used by the access points to check the address information for routing, so some of the suppliers might automatically use the updated address.
