Maventa now supports e-invoicing via Peppol for German companies. We have also added the ability to register German companies through financial management software.

Overview of the German Market

Germany has implemented a B2B mandate for e-invoicing. The transition is occurring in phases, and e-invoicing will be mandatory for all companies by 2028. From 2025 onward, companies cannot refuse to receive EN-compliant e-invoices. However, the delivery channel has not been specified. Additional requirements for the sending company are expected in the coming years.

E-Invoicing via Peppol

Maventa customers can send e-invoices to German companies via Peppol or Maventa’s internal network (when both sender and recipient are Maventa customers). The conversion of invoice formats to the local format XRechnung 2.3 and 3.0 is automatically supported by Maventa. Sending to Leitweg ID is supported within the public sector.

Registering German Companies in Maventa

We have added the ability to register German companies in Maventa through financial management software. If your software does not yet support this feature, we recommend contacting your software support team, who can request the feature from Maventa.
